Belize Delegation’s Productive Week in Costa Rica 
This week, the Belize delegation, including DGFT, Customs & Excise, BELTRAIDE, and the Ministry of Economic Development, was warmly welcomed by the Costa Rican Trade Promotion Agency (PROCOMER). 
On Day 1, the focus was on learning about the VUI (Single Window for Investment) and VUCE (Single Window for Trade). Discussions centered on onboarding key processes for priority ministries, speeding up trade procedures, and sharing lessons learned from implementation.
Day 2 highlighted export promotion and development through investment in MSMEs and organizing trade missions to connect suppliers with buyers. The delegation also explored Costa Rica’s border integration program with Panama and Nicaragua, aimed at fostering regional trade opportunities.
